Since 1968

Fifty eight years, one yard on US 49.

Seal Digging Service has worked out of Florence, Mississippi since 1968, installing and servicing the septic tanks, treatment plants, grease traps and lift stations that sit under yards across the Jackson metro. A good deal of what the crew gets called back to service is what the crew itself put in the ground, some of it decades ago.

Trust the legacy

A company older than most of what it services.

1968

“Since 1968. Trust the legacy.”

That is how Seal Digging describes itself on its own trucks, and it is not just marketing shorthand. Fifty eight years of pumping, installing and repairing the same kind of ground means the crew has usually seen whatever a yard is doing before, whether that is a wet patch, a stubborn alarm, or roots that found a tank nobody knew was there.

1998

Charlie, twenty eight years in.

Charlie is the longest serving member of the team, on with Seal Digging since 1998. Crews come and go in most trades. A technician who has been opening the same kind of tank for nearly three decades is a different thing, and it shows in how fast a fault usually gets found once the lid is off.

Dealer and service provider

An authorized Consolidated Treatment Systems dealer.

Seal Digging is listed in Consolidated’s own dealer network for the Multi-Flo, Nayadic and Sybr-AER treatment lines. That relationship is most of why a service call on one of these systems tends to go faster here than it would somewhere new to them. The crew that fits a treatment plant is the same one that comes back to open the control panel years later, so nobody is meeting the equipment for the first time on the day something goes wrong.

Our own fleet

The trucks and the excavator are ours.

Seal Digging runs its own Peterbilt vacuum trucks and a tracked excavator, in company livery, out of the yard at 4022 US 49. Nothing is subcontracted between pulling into a driveway and putting the yard back together: the pump-out, the excavation, the fill dirt and the landscaping that follows an install are all the same crew, the same equipment.

See what that crew handles on the services page, from routine pump-outs through to full installs.

Still the same crew, still the same yard.

Give the office a call weekdays and you will get people who have likely already been out to a system like yours. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
