Aerobic treatment systems distribute treated water through spray heads in the yard. When a head clogs, breaks, or gets run over by a mower, that section of the yard stops receiving water and the system backs up. Spray head repair restores even distribution and keeps the system operating within its design parameters.

The most frequent issues are clogged nozzles (sediment or biofilm from the treatment tank), broken risers from mowing or foot traffic, and misaligned heads that spray onto pavement or against the house. A clogged head forces the remaining heads to handle more flow, which can saturate one area of the yard while starving another.
The technician inspects each head for flow, direction, and riser height. Clogged heads are cleared or replaced. Broken risers are swapped. If the spray pattern has shifted (common after settling or landscaping changes), the heads are repositioned to cover the intended spray field. Seal Digging Service replaced sprinkler heads for a Florence homeowner within a day of the call.
Mark your spray heads with small flags or stakes so they are visible when mowing. Keep grass trimmed around the heads to avoid blocking the spray pattern. If a head is in a high-traffic path, ask your technician about a recessed or pop-up riser that sits below grade when not spraying.
