Service 07 of 07
A full system service is a top-to-bottom inspection and cleaning of every component in a multi-tank septic or wastewater treatment system. It covers the inlet, the treatment chambers, the pump, the distribution system, and the spray field. It is the most thorough maintenance visit a residential system receives.

The technician pumps and inspects each tank in the system. Baffles, tees, and filters are checked for cracks or blockages. The air pump is tested for output pressure and runtime. The distribution box, if present, is levelled and cleaned. Every spray head is inspected for flow, direction, and riser condition. Lines are flushed to clear any accumulated sediment.
A full service is recommended when a property changes hands, when a system has been neglected for several years, or when multiple components are showing problems at the same time. It is also a good idea after major weather events that may have shifted the tank, flooded the drain field, or damaged spray heads.
After the service, the technician can describe the condition of each component and recommend a maintenance schedule going forward. If any component needs replacement (a worn air pump, a cracked baffle, corroded fittings), that work can often be done during the same visit or scheduled separately.
